Speedplay X/2 Stainless
I've learned so much in the past 18 months since "returning" to the sport of Triathlon and Cycling.
At times the learning curve has been pretty steep but with the guidance (and patience) of some really cool people who are in the "know" I'm beginning to actually feel like I know what I'm doing! ... well sort of LOL
Many of my friends use the Speedplay pedal platform and swear by it.
Recently I've been in the market for some new cycling shoes (the ones I bought last year are WAY too big for me).
Well, I just happened to be in Speed Theory today to get F.I.S.T'ed on my Soloist and while waiting to get set up I was trying on some cycling shoes.
I ended up getting the LG Tri Air. Sooo comfy.
and since I opened the wallet to get new shoes, I figured may as well give the Speedplay's a go too!
I love buying new gear almost much as I love training.. almost!

Nice shoes, yes. Confy, yes. I got them a few years back but be carefull. This also happened to Scott Curry @ IMAZ with his equivalent. The metal buckle can break so take care and don't sinch too tight. IF they do a shoe repair person can fix it OR do as I did. Take a peice of coat hanger and bend it to the shape slippimg it over the buckle area. Let me know if this happens to you as I can send a pic of what it looks like. Enjoy. They are good shoes, I like the fact that they came w 2 insoles.
