Firing it up for the Provincial TT Championships
Last week I got back from a successful trip out to the coast. Found a sweet place to call home in Portland OR. I'm about 10km from school (easy commute), 20 min from downtown and more importantly I have a very easy outlet to some rural riding SE of the city.
Mount Hood looks beautiful on a clear day!
In the mean time, I have this week to prepare for the upcoming Provincial ITT Championships being held in Canmore AB. I've never done a 40km ITT before sans Triathlon so this should be a really cool experience!
Looking forward to tearing it up with the rest of my Speed Theory teammates.
I'm finally feeling fully "recovered" from my Triathlon in Edmonton last month. It sure has taken awhile and I think it's partly due to my 1hr 4 min 10km run. LOL.... and not allowing myself the following week to "recover properly" as I was pretty much back on the bike training on Tues (2 days post race).
Lesson learned. :)
Now my focus is shifting towards Hamburg and I have about a month before I travel to get some quality training in.
